BOILER VAYLANT ERROR F75, gas boiler double-circuit vailant, gas boiler double-circuit wall vailant, gas boiler vailant instruction

European] Vaillant [/ anchor] is well known to professionals and users of heating equipment.

Founded more than 100 years ago, the company has accumulated vast production and technological experience, has developed a lot of its own patented assemblies and parts.

Gas boilers manufactured by this company are known far beyond Europe and are exported not only to Russia, but also to most countries of the world.

The units are famous for their reliability and resistance to external loads; they are being adapted to the technical conditions of the country where they will be operated.

Problems that arise are immediately diagnosed by a system of sensors that signal the appearance of a problem to the display.

Let's take a closer look at this issue.

Popular malfunctions of Vaillant gas boilers

During the operation of the equipment, situations constantly arise when a particular unit is under increased load and may fail.

Situations can arise in a variety of ways, but most of them can be systematized and classified as the most typical. The manufacturer cares about the reliability of its units.

The design of each unit contains a set of special sensors that monitor the state of certain parts and notify the user when a mode failure or failure of a particular element occurs.... These sensors constitute a self-diagnosis system that provides signals to the electronic control board.

The presence of such a system greatly facilitates the process of localizing a malfunction that has arisen, and allows it to be detected at an early stage. The error code takes precedence over other system messages and is displayed in any situation.

This facilitates repairs and ensures the safety of expensive equipment.

How to avoid problems with the Vilant boiler

First of all, before each heating season, it is worth calling in specialists for routine prevention.

You can find out how the Vaillant boiler is diagnosed using the example of the following video.

The instructions for using the device must be strictly followed. For example, you need to follow the arrow indicating the pressure in the apparatus - it should be in the middle of the gray strip and in no case go over the red one. Also, the boiler should not operate at its full capacity, as it will fail faster. Its service life also depends on the quality of the coolant - filters may clog. Of course, nothing can be done about the quality of the water, but sometimes you need to check the filters.

You should pay special attention that in no case should you be engaged in setting up or checking equipment if you lack the necessary knowledge and skills, since there is a high risk of damaging the gas boiler or even harming yourself and others. In addition, if the device is under warranty service, then in case of unsuccessful self-diagnosis, you may lose the opportunity to use the warranty.

Therefore, you should always contact qualified professionals.

When the display shows error F 22, the washing machine stops working and responds to commands. The machine does not heat up the water during washing.

What does the F22 error code on the Bosch washing machine display mean and how to fix it? In this article, we will deal with the causes of the breakdown, we will list the effective solutions.

Models of CM Bosch without a screen notify about the problem by glowing (blinking) of the speed lamps at 1000, 800 and 600.

How to run self-test

The self-diagnosis system is a set of sensors consisting of NTC elements (thermistors) or software products.

All of them operate in a continuous mode, monitoring the state of the connected elements from the moment the boiler is turned on..

Therefore, the self-diagnosis system does not need to be started - it is always on and operates in a constant mode, monitoring the operating mode of units and parts, immediately signaling the occurrence of malfunctions.

In the event of an abnormal situation, a special code will appear on the display indicating the problematic structural element. The user is only required to respond appropriately to an error.

How to fix the error yourself: easy ways

To remedy the situation, you need to find the cause of the breakdown. When a Bosch washing machine stops heating water and displays error code 22, you need to solve the problem as soon as possible.

What external signs may indicate a lack of heating:

  • The sunroof is still cold 20-30 minutes after starting the program.
  • The laundry is not well washed, and a musty smell is felt.

Some users determine the lack of heat by removing cold laundry from the tub. However, this is normal, as the rinsing takes place in cold water.

Before you start troubleshooting the mechanism of your Bosch clipper, try the available methods for resetting the F22 error.

  1. Incorrect operation. If you did not look into the CM Bosch manual before use, you might have chosen the wrong program. Certain types of fabrics can be washed at low temperatures, please pay attention to this.
  2. Incorrect connection. If the hoses are incorrectly installed and positioned, the water circulates continuously. The washer does not have time to heat it up. Check the connections and correct the situation.
  3. Lack of electricity. If the Bosch car does not start at all, check the voltage in the network, it is possible that the lever on the switchboard has been knocked out.
  4. Electronic controller failure. It happens that the system crashes, so you can reset the F22 error by rebooting. Unplug the washing machine from the outlet for 15-20 minutes. If the malfunction code is not displayed after restarting, then everything is in order.

You tried all methods, but they didn’t work. What to do? Continue troubleshooting.

The main error codes (f28, f75) and their short decoding

There are a lot of codes for various errors or malfunctions.

Let's consider the most common ones.:

The codeDecoding
F00Open circuit of the supply thermistor
F01Open circuit of the return line thermistor
F02-03Opening of the temperature thermistor or storage sensor
F04Breakage of the return thermistor
F10Short circuit of the supply thermistor (exceeding 130 °)
F11, F14Short circuit of the return thermistor (exceeding 130 °)
F22Dry running (pump failure)
F23Lack of water. Determined by the temperature difference between the flow and return lines
F27Parasitic flame
F28Ignition lock
F29Failure in operating mode (occurs when the flame goes out and an unsuccessful attempt to ignite)
F35Error in the gas outlet
F37Unstable or abnormal fan speed
F72Error in readings of the sensors of the forward and / or return line
F75The pump is unable to build up pressure
F76Overheating of the primary heat exchanger

IMPORTANT!

In addition to the error codes marked with the letter F, there are status codes marked with the letter S. They inform about the ongoing process and are not errors.

Vilant boiler error f75

Unlike other boilers, the vaillant self-diagnosis system checks that the circulation pump has started up.Since the pressure sensor is able to quantitatively register its change, at the moment of starting the circulation pump, the program checks for a pressure jump of 50 mbar for 20 seconds. The circulation pump is designed to pump the coolant through the system, but at the time of start-up it briefly creates a slight overpressure. The absence of such a jump can be regarded as a malfunction of the circulation pump, and in order to prevent further overheating of the system and improper operation of the boiler, the automation blocks the operation with error F75.

In fact, the F 75 error can also be caused by side effects, for example, clogging of the sensor, air in the heating system, boundary pressure level in the circuit (low, but within the acceptable limit). In the event of a malfunction of the sensor itself, status codes F73 and F74 are provided (when the voltage at the sensor is too low or too high).

The boilers are also equipped with analog pressure gauges, therefore, for diagnostics, the sensor readings can be compared with the readings on a mechanical pressure gauge. The accuracy of the mechanical pressure gauge is in the order of 0.2 bar.

Malfunctions and how to fix them

The appearance of this or that error on the display does not mean that serious problems have arisen. Electronics sometimes perceives the readings of the sensors as signals of a failure or breakdown of a particular unit. Therefore, usually the first action is to reset the error and restart the boiler.

If the error appears several times in a row, there is no longer any doubt about the malfunction.

Consider ways to solve the most common problems:

F 22

Lack of water may indicate that the pump has stopped (check the contacts or the condition of the wire, replace the pump), problems with the make-up tap or with the sensor itself.

F 28

Ignition blocking occurs due to the lack of a positive result on the device's attempts to ignite the gas on the burner. The most probable reason is the failure of the gas fittings, the lack of gas in the pipeline, the ingress of air into the gas pipeline and other problems with the gas supply system.

F 29

The reason for the cessation of gas combustion is most often the cessation of the supply from the gas pipeline, the recirculation of exhaust gases that reduce the gas's ability to ignite, the failure of the ignition transformer. Alternatively, you should check the condition of the grounding electrode.

F 36

This error occurs only on boilers with an atmospheric burner and indicates the ingress of exhaust gases into the atmosphere of the dwelling. The predominant reasons are poor chimney condition, lack of draft (back draft due to external conditions), too short chimney... Often, the reasons are too high a room temperature or a small indent from the walls, made during the installation of the unit.

F 75

After 5 attempts, the pressure in the system does not rise. The reason can be both the presence of air in the pipelines and the failure of the pump.... Alternatively, the expansion tank may be mistakenly connected to the supply pipeline or the total water pressure in the pipeline is weak.

Vaillant 240 / 3-3 error f28 (how he won), repair.

Background. I posted the same topic on a profile forum, but it was closed, only because users would enrich manufacturers and service providers, or maybe because of the obvious danger of this type of repair by unqualified users. Therefore, you probably need to warn that everything is done at your own (and those living in the boiler heating territory) fear and risk.

Good day, everyone, I decided to create a theme, maybe if I found one, I would spend much less time on repairs.

To begin with, somewhere in October, the boiler began to go into error f28 about once every couple of weeks (there is a crackling from the electrodes, there is no ignition).Over time, the oshika began to appear more often, and by the end of December, almost every day, just to turn on the hot water supply, it was necessary to open and close the tap several times, otherwise the water was almost cold.

At the same time, I read forums, tried to find the reason (and even bought a new boiler of the same kind from my hands at a similar pre-crisis price). I cleaned the electrodes, turned the plug in the stabilizer, excluded it, changed the dielectric clutch, was already going to dig the ground loop in winter (there were mentions of such a reason), checked the grid in the gas valve until I found somewhere that the reason could be in the stepper motor of the gas valve ...

And he also called the gas workers, the cat is servicing the boiler, they unanimously or brains or the gas valve, we will not repair anything, only a replacement (they charged 7800r for the gas valve, did not even ask about the brains).

I decided to remove the gas valve myself.

Disconnect the boiler from the network, turn off the gas.

It can be removed absolutely easily, the only one latch of the electrical connector of the cable is broken, but even without it it cannot be pulled out. Since I had already removed it, I decided to disassemble it completely, everything inside seemed to be in the store yesterday (the boiler is 3.5 years old), so I think it is not necessary to disassemble it. Then I removed the stepper motor (or rather, its winding is removed, maybe it’s called differently, I’m not an electrician, please don’t kick), but I almost forgot, small torcs (asterisks) are needed to remove it. So under the winding there is a metal cylindrical cap, I recommend that when removing it (the cap), pay attention to how it is removed (easily or with friction), it was removed from me almost with a grinding noise. Under this cap there is a stem, which (as it seems to me works on something like an electric valve) moves up and down, pressing or not on the membrane (which is responsible for the gas supply). The entire rod and the entire interior of the cylinder was in some kind of black mess (it seems to me that due to a lack of lubrication during assembly, the plastic part of the rod began to wear off against the metal cap and dust from friction mixed with the remnants of the lubricant became a clear resistance to the rod stroke). I washed all the details in alcohol, subtracted that there should be some special lubricant, but which one I did not find, so I smeared it with a blue mobile (I smeared it quite lightly). What else should be noted when removing the cap, be careful, the stem has a threaded adjustment, so I remembered how much it was initially tightened, otherwise it turns very easily (I don't know how important this is, of course). I put everything together in reverse order and the boiler has been working for a month without failures (ugh x 3).

I am not a miser and not a beggar, but I have no desire to throw out 8000r. Why service workers can not repair anything, I do not understand. This is some kind of European service model, replacing blocks, I do not understand it and seems wasteful.

Ps

This repair was again prompted by the service technicians who recently changed the three-way valve. When I superficially examined the old (which was removed) all the parts as well as new ones, the stroke of the rod is light, the scale is minuscule, but for some reason it did not completely overlap. If there is somewhere a topic for revitalization, please share a link, I want to make it in stock, I'm sure there will be nothing complicated there.

If this topic is useful to someone, I will be glad.

PS

After assembly, it is MANDATORY to flush all connections that were disassembled for gas leaks !!!

Why is the pressure dropping

The pressure drop in the boiler has only one reason - a coolant leak. If, after several attempts to raise the pressure using the supply valve, no positive results appear, you should look for a leak in the boiler itself or in the heating circuit.

Difficulty can arise if the boiler is condensing and is connected to a floor heating system.

Finding leaks in such conditions is extremely difficult. It may turn out that the malfunction is hidden in the dump valve connected to the sewer system..

The best way to find the reasons is to consistently exclude possible causes of leaks, so that in the end one, the correct one, remains.

NOTE!

Certain information can be obtained if you try to determine the intensity of the leakage and analyze the throughput capacity of the boiler elements involved.

Typical errors

Knowing the error codes of the Vilant boiler, you can diagnose almost any malfunction. And having experience in repairing heating equipment, nothing prevents you from coping with the breakdown yourself. Codes are highlighted on digital indicators, representing two-digit numbers with the letter F. Let us examine them in more detail.

Error F28

Quite a common error that occurs when it is impossible to start the ignition unit. As a result, the equipment cannot start up. Error F28 in Vilant boilers can indicate both a breakdown of the motherboard and malfunction of other components - a high-voltage ignition transformer, a gas magnet, a gas valve, an ignition sensor and much more. It appears when the conductors are broken or when there is insufficient pressure in the line. A banally closed gas valve often leads to its appearance.

To fix error F28, follow these steps:

  • Check all electrical connections.
  • Test gas equipment.
  • Make sure that there is a gas supply to the Vilant boiler.
  • Remove dirt from the ignition sensor.

If all the nodes are intact, there is a high probability of error directly on the motherboard. In this case, you need to contact the Vilant service for its repair or complete replacement.

Error F75

Error F75 can also indicate problems with the on-board water pressure sensor - it cannot recognize an increase in pressure after starting the pump.

Error F75

Another common sign of breakage. Error F75 in Vilant boilers indicates problems with pressure in the heating system. It occurs after starting the circulation pump. Usually, in this case, the pressure rises somewhere by 0.2-0.4 atmospheres. If this does not happen, the problem may lie in the incorrect installation of the system. First, you need to check the operability and correct connection of the expansion tank (expansomat), and then bleed the circuit.

Pressure rises

An increase in pressure can be triggered by an open make-up valve. This can be determined simply - continuous feed drastically reduces the possibility of heating the coolant, which causes the outlet temperature to decrease.

At the same time, the valve should be triggered, bleeding the excess air pressure into the sewer... It is possible for the OM to boil in the heat exchanger, which also causes an avalanche-like increase in pressure due to a sharp expansion of the volume.

Alternatively, the control board may fail. The issue can be resolved by resetting to factory settings.

Pressure test

This is another procedure that you can do yourself if a malfunction occurs. In order to check the pressure, it is necessary to remove the casing of the unit. After that, you need to fold the junction box and close the gas shut-off valve. The next step is to loosen the sealing screw located on the gas valve. After that, a digital pressure gauge is connected. Then you can open the gas shut-off valve and put the device into operation. Then the pressure is measured. If these manipulations did not help, then you can try other methods.

Doesn't restart

There are many reasons for refusing to restart the boiler. It is almost impossible to name them all, since most of the problems one way or another lead to the blocking of the installation, and restarting becomes impossible until the cause is eliminated. However, some possible reasons can be named immediately.

For example, the power plug in the outlet might be upside down. Vaillant gas boilers are phase-dependent, i.e. cannot work when the contacts are re-phased... If a reconnection occurs during repair work, the unit will not be able to start.

In addition, it is possible that the injectors become clogged with soot, which cease to pass gas in the required amount, as a result of which blocking immediately follows at start-up.

Error f33 vaillant how to fix and what to do?

Occurs only in turbocharged boiler models. The source of the error is the pressure switch in the exhaust pipe. The logic of operation of all modern gas boilers is approximately the same. When a request for ignition is received, the control board turns on the fan (smoke exhauster), which creates a vacuum. When the required draft is reached, the contacts of the differential relay close and thereby a signal is transmitted to the board to open the gas valve and ignite the burner. Accordingly, if there is no signal from the relay, or it is in a closed state after the fan is turned off, the vaillant automatics generates error f33.

Vilant boiler error f33 reasons:

  • the fan does not work (can be checked visually)
  • breakdown of the pressure switch (condensate can accumulate in the tubes, which, flowing down into the sensor, makes it unusable;
  • an error in the installation of the exhaust pipe (condensate can also accumulate and flood the relay)
  • clogging of coaxial pipes, preventing normal air flow
  • clogged pitot tube (accumulated dirt or insects)

You can check the operation of the relay by creating your own vacuum through the tube (a characteristic click should occur). It happens that the relay "sticks", ie. in the normal state, it will be closed, which can be checked with an ordinary multimeter. In this case, it will have to be replaced.
It happens that the tubes themselves or the pitot tube are damaged, for example, from exposure to high temperatures.

The slightest change in shape can affect the readings and cause error F33.

It is worth noting that this is a problem for almost all gas boilers. Some manufacturers solve it by installing a special widening (this is what BAXI did) to collect condensate, and some even make heated tubes to evaporate it.

Common mistakes

Malfunctions of the Vilant T4 boiler, which is the most common model in the domestic market, mainly relate to the defective operation of the pump due to insufficient pressure in the system. To improve this indicator, you may need a more powerful unit, which will have to be installed additionally.

It is also a fairly common problem when exhaust gases are not completely discharged into the atmosphere. A smoke exhauster can help out well here, which is even able to correct a not entirely correct chimney installation. The gas burner must also be cleaned at least once a year, and more often on the water heating circuit. To resolve more serious issues, it is better to contact the service center.

Each modern boiler is equipped with automation that monitors the state of all systems and, in the event of emergency situations, quickly closes the gas leak. Therefore, there is no need to worry that an explosive concentration could arise if the boiler breaks down when no one is at home.

However, it should also be borne in mind that the computerized control unit is powered by electricity, so it is necessary to ensure an uninterrupted supply of voltage for it so that all systems continue to function normally. For this, UPSs with different battery capacities are used. It will not be superfluous to install a voltage stabilizer.

Decoding of codes of basic errors

All faults are displayed on the automation display in the form of encrypted alphanumeric designations. The error codes of the Vaillant boiler can be viewed in the list below:

  • 1. Error f20 on the Vaillant boiler is quite rare and signals overheating of the equipment. This can be the result of clogging of the heat exchanger with various debris, as a result of which the coolant is not able to fully circulate and heats up to a critical temperature.
  • 2. The f22 error is much more common. It means an insufficient amount of water in the system or its complete absence.
  • 3. Error f28 of the Vilant boiler - the electronic board burned out. This can happen as a result of a sharp voltage surge, which is why a stabilizer is needed.
  • 4. Error f29 of the Vaillant gas boiler - the gas burner does not light up. After three unsuccessful ignition attempts, the boiler will automatically shut down. There can be quite a few reasons, from insufficient gas pressure, to a jammed valve or clogging of holes with various debris. Diagnostics will have to be carried out independently, since the automation gives only a general idea of the problem.
  • 5. Error f36 of the Vaillant boiler - the exit of gaseous combustion products into the room. It may result from a leak in the pipeline or insufficient draft in the chimney. The solution is described above.
  • 6. Error f75 on the Vaillant boiler means there is a lack of water pressure in the pipeline. The solution method is described in a few paragraphs above.

The list of other errors with decoding can be found in the instructions that come with each model.

Error F22 on the display indicates that the water does not heat up to the temperature specified in the program. It can arise in the process, and the washing will continue, although you cannot call it high-quality. Most often, the heating problem is critical, so the machine will stop completely.

If your model does not have a display, pay attention to the RPM lights. In the described case, three will light up at once: 1000, 800 and 600 (or 800, 600 and 400), that is, all but one:

If there is no error, other symptoms may indicate temperature problems. Thus, the laundry is still dirty or smells unpleasant after the end of the program. It is worth noting that sometimes this case is misdiagnosed, believing that the cold laundry that you take out of the drum after washing is already a problem. But since rinsing always takes place in cold water, in this case there is no reason to panic.
