Section with the ordering of Russian stoves and heating units.

Russian stoves, the most famous stove designs. They serve both for heating the room and for cooking food. The main feature of the stove is the arched vault of the Russian stove chamber. It is not easy to do, it takes a lot of preparation. Usually the arched vault is covered with sand and a couple of rows of bricks are laid. Thus, a full-fledged bed is obtained. Nowadays, there are different variations of stoves. You can make a Russian stove with a flood and a stove. You can add an oven and heat shields on both sides. As in the case of heating stoves, it is possible to lay the coil in the heating chamber. In this section, you can find designs of famous stove-makers - Podgorodnikov, Kuznetsov.

Differences between the heating furnace

The Podgorodnikov heating stove differs from the usual Russian stove in its size, which allows it to be erected in a room of any size (it does not take up much space). The stove not only warms up the lower part of the room, but also heats up quickly, within half an hour, and you can cook on it right away, without waiting for the wood to burn out in the crucible.

The Podgorodnikov stove is designed not only for firewood, but also for another type of fuel. There are several dozen different designs of these furnaces, but the Teplushka-15 furnace can be called the most successful.

The laying of the stove begins, a stove with a stove is located on the side. The stove is planned for plastering, but it is worth inserting carved bricks into the arch, as well as in some other places. A combination of a white oven and carved brick would be better. Air ducts were installed under the heating shield of the stove with a stove. The breathability of the heat will increase the temperature in the home. The lights are often turned off here, and the gas boiler will be connected to electricity. The works are carried out with local clay, it is soaked and filtered, the sand should be sifted without fail. The works are carried out with red bricks, a good one is selected - but these works are very tedious.

The back wall of the furnace is 280 mm, 125 mm is sand backfill and another 125 mm. The chimney was folded into one meter of brick, then a temporary iron pipe was first installed so that the stove dries up - at this time there were also heating of the stove. The Russian stove worked perfectly, the author did not expect anything else, but the stove with the stove was a little capricious. It is worth drying it, there is traction, but not as good as expected. For the work, a tile-cutting machine will be necessary, and also a stone-cutting machine with wet cutting will be a good assistant in the work.

Problems with this stove began with extending the pipe: the author did this three times, and also punched the cap three times. In this situation, the stove either works, then there is a reverse draft. The last time was the extension of a pipe with a height higher than the ridge - it became 960 mm on the cap parallel to the ridge, tins were placed so that the wind would not blow out. Furnace problems with a stove will be solved by installing a deflector. There are concerns that there is heavy pressure on the furnace in the pipe. As soon as the hood was removed, the oven started working immediately. A cut of 250 mm was made from the oven.

It is worth noting and repeating the words for the thousandth time: they have not yet invented a better Russian stove for cooking and a sleeping place. Despite the large furnace dimensions, with the correct kindling of fuel, little is needed for it. As a result of the installation of the deflector, the oven with the stove began to work perfectly. The shield after heating is fiery, such a shield does not cool for a long time, and the bed remains warm for a long time. The firewood is burned a little, at the first laying the firebox should not be filled to full, the firebox is not completely clogged, the pipe and the blower should be covered during heating, while the blower is completely closed. There is no metal base near the stove.

The wooden vault formwork is installed on 60 mm strips: by lifting the plywood pieces, the formwork is subsequently pulled out. The slats are stuffed with small carnations. Reinforcement was made with fiberglass.

Plastering of the stove is made with gypsum plaster. Previously, they were always made with lime-gypsum mortar. The oven was dried 4 times a day, firewood was placed in the firebox in small portions, and the wood was finely chopped. Drying took 10 days.

Russian stove "Teplushka" 1270x1660 mm

The Russian stove "Teplushka" is one of the most functional heating and cooking stoves. With the help of such an oven, you can easily heat a relatively large living space, as well as prepare a lot of tasty and nutritious meals.

Ovens "Teplushki" are different in size and functionality. Some contain only a cooking chamber, an analogue of an ordinary Russian stove, and a lower heating chamber. Others also include a hob. Some furnaces have separate fuel chambers for operating the furnace in different modes. However, there are furnaces in which the functions of the fuel chambers are combined and, because of this, they are easier to operate.

The basis of this project is the furnace of I.V. Kuznetsova RTIK 5, which in turn is an improved version of the Teplushka-15 furnace by I.S. Podgorodnikov. This oven is one of the most demanded designs in the series of Russian Teplushek.

The advantage of the oven is that it has several modes of operation.

Firstly, it is a summer-style firebox. Hot gases with an open "summer" valve can be sent directly into the pipe without heating the heating chamber.

Secondly, the firebox is winter-like. In this case, the gases warm up the heating chamber and only then go into the pipe.

The next mode is a furnace for baking. The fuel combusted in the fuel chamber heats up the cooking chamber. In this case, the sealed door of the cooking chamber must be closed without fail. In order for more heat to enter the cooking chamber, the grate between the fuel and cooking chambers must be removed. After the oven is heated and the cooking chamber is warmed up, you can bake bread and cook food in it.

"Teplushka" can be heated in Russian, with the door of the cooking chamber open. In this case, the fuel is placed on the grate in the bottom of the cooking chamber, and the firebox door is opened. If the main smoke damper is closed and the ventilation valve is open, smoke will go through the open door of the cooking chamber into the chimney. If you open the main valve and close the ventilation valve, until the smoke goes into the room, the bottom of the stove will also warm up.

The furnace has dimensions at the base of 1270x1660 mm.

Its height is 2 m 10 cm on the front side of the stove and 1 m 47 cm above the stove bench.

Heat transfer is not less than 4500 W with a two-time firebox.

The size of the heated room is up to 35-40 m2.

Foundation

Before making a Russian stove with your own hands, the drawings must be carefully studied and after that, proceed to the construction of the foundation and the acquisition of materials. Although it is better to lay the foundation for the structure at the stage of forming the foundation for the house. However, they should not be connected.

If it so happens that the furnace needs to be erected in an already rebuilt house, then you should cut the floor to the ground, make the formwork and pour concrete, if necessary, then with reinforcement. Depending on the location of the furnace, there are the following nuances in the construction of its foundation:

  • If the Russian stove will stand against the inner wall with a shallow base, then both soles should be on the same level, and the upper platform for the stove remains 14 cm below the finished floor.
  • If the furnace is planned to be placed near the load-bearing wall on a buried strip foundation, then the pit under the base of the furnace is expanded, a sand and gravel layer is made with tamping and concrete is poured into the formwork. In this case, the gap between the two foundations of 5 cm is filled with sand, the sidewalls directed towards the inside of the house are formed with brickwork. The deepening of the sole must be at least half a meter.

  • If the structure is located in the cut-through opening of the load-bearing wall, then the interrupted lower rim should be connected with steel strips (6 mm thick and 60 mm wide) by placing them on the ends of the logs on both sides and tightening them with bolts (16 mm diameter). The resulting opening is framed with wooden racks, the resulting gap (cutting) should be 5 cm.

When you have decided on the location and foundation, you can.

Podgorodnikov's two-bell furnaces: Design features

Such a device, also known as the Russian teplushka stove, has advantages over other heating devices. The main idea of its author was to make the cold bottom chamber part of the chimney. Smoke enters it through the holes in the hearth.

This design is more compact than the traditional Russian stove. Due to its technical features, it is able to evenly heat the entire room, while the air in the lower part of the room with a conventional stove remains cold.
